Members - Your Personal Data: If you sign up and register for membership the following information will be collected from you and stored on our database: 1) Email Address 2) IP Address 3) Member Name 4) Password 5) Date of joining 6) Last log in date. 7) Preference settings, and 8) Number of visits.
Coaster Grotto does not sell, rent or share any of your private personal data (email address, ip address, password) with any third parties. Your email address and/or IP Address may be disclosed to an appropriate body in compliance with legal, regulatory and law enforcement requests, or if you conduct yourself in a way that violates our Terms of Service.
In addition to the above account information, you may opt to create a personal profile with more sensitive personal data, such as your gender, date of birth (used to calculate your age), location, etc. By default this information will be publicly viewable. You can view, edit and delete the data in your profile at any time (log in and click the Edit Profile link on the members bar). In addition, you can make your profile private so that it is only viewable by yourself and site admin (log in and click the My Account link to change your preferences).
Any posts and comments you make on our web sites are also publicly viewable. You can edit or delete your comments at any time. To do this, log in and click on the View Profile link, scroll down and click on the Comments link. From here you will be able to see all of the posts you have made. Click on the Edit link by each comment, and from here you can individually edit or delete each comment. If you choose to Delete Your Account, your comments will remain viewable, but your member name will be displayed as Unregistered, rendering your comments anonymous.
Non-Members - Your Personal Data: We do not collect information from non members, other than standard web site traffic information (see below).
Web Site Analytics: When you visit Coaster Grotto it automatically records your IP Address, the referring website, the page which you are viewing, the time at which it was accessed, and details of your web browser/device. This information is appended to a web log and is used solely for the purpose of monitoring the volume of traffic to the site. We do not attempt to discover the identify of any visitors to the site, unless we suspect that they are violating the Terms of Service of the site, in which case we will attempt to identify your ISP and report you to them.
Cookies: Cookies are small files of data that reside on your computer and allow us to recognize you as a member. We send a "session cookie" to your computer if and when you log in to your account by entering your member name and password. These cookies allow us to recognize you if you visit multiple pages in our site during the same session, so that you don't need to re-enter your password multiple times.
