Alton Towers tops poll for best UK family day out

In a recent survey for Direct Line by YouGov Alton Towers was voted the best day out in the UK by both adults and children. However the majority of the remainder of the Top 10 for adults and the Top 10 for children seemed to differ.

6. Chessington World of Adventures

8. London Dungeon
9. Legoland
