A local power cut left riders stranded on rides at Chessington World of Adventures Friday afternoon with sixteen people being rescued from two rollercoasters.
There were many complaints on social media about how the management handled the situation, but the theme park said every ride has a platform next to it so all guests would have been helped on to that and then would have been able to walk down stairs.
The theme park confirmed that no emergency services were called and said no-one needed medical help. Operations returned to normal later in the afternoon.
