the Mayan Mindbender would be a million times better if the seats where more wide!

Basically Astroworld is full of carnival rides that aren't even googd enough to be coasters. Houston is being ripped off. Only one coaster here is over 100 feet tall and none have more than a 100 foot drop. There is a looping star that lasts all of 1 minute, and an SLC which is just horrible. The scary thing is that the SLC is the premier coaster here. The park needs to relocate and get rid of more than a few coasters while doing so.

Well, I would say that Cyclone is definitely a legitimate Coaster (certainly the best wooden coaster in Texas).

The rest of the park has turned to garbage. Gum everywhere. Credit the parks problem more to Houston's ghetto attitude. It may be the largest city in Texas, but it certainly has the lowest class of people.

the park has changed over the years. the employees are better ...they are neatly dressed. the times we have been there early we get to see the dance its fun to see that . the employees greeted us throughout the stores and some restaurants... keep it up....

I recently visited this park, one week before permanent closing. I hope someone or some company purchases the Texas Cyclone. This is my favorite woody and it would be a shame if it gets torn down forever. I also really liked Viper, but it was too short. Can someone please tell me that Togo has stopped producing medieval torture devices? I've never been in that much pain on a coaster before, and I'm a short guy! As for the park, much too dark, much too slipshod, and much too low-rent. Maybe this park is the most poignant symbol of where Six Flags and other corporate parks go wrong.

it really sadins me to hear that astroworld closed ot's gates.

astroworld was a fun park to visit and i enjoyed my time there.

but i was not to happy that i did not get my chance to ride the texas cyclone nor the ultra twister.
