I rode 4 laps on Kumba and 1 lap on Montu. Today was our 2nd visit to BGT since we were last here in '97. They are both awesome coasters, very smooth and fast. Gwazi is good too but shakes you up a bit---I prefer steel coasters--I'll ride any and all!

Just like Sea World I only went to Busch Gardens for the rollercoasters, the animals have have no apeal to me.

Busch Gardens is a great park with a fascinating array of thrill rides, animal exhibits, and exciting shows. It features 8 wonderful roller coasters, including 3 of the world's best -- Montu, SheiKra, and Kumba. Before SheiKra opened, queues for Montu and Kumba were rarely over 5 minutes except in peak season. After SheiKra opened, the lines still aren't too bad, but expect 10-15 minute waits for all the rides, and over 20 minutes for SheiKra. Definately visit this great park!
This is one of the top dogs of a theme park...nearly every big theme has a steel twist/looping coaster..bushgardens have kumba..i luv it it is quality n got 1 hell of a loop in it..but the best there is montu..a steel inverted rollercoaster n its wiked..the only bad thing with this park is that when you go youv gotta try n miss the rain lol...its gd gd gd n i giv it 8.5/10

Cheetah Chase is the scariest ride I've ever been on, no joke. The tracks were wet after a rainstorm to make things worse.

My girlfriend and I just got back and we loved this park. A huge variety of things to do in addition to great coasters. Sheikra is a great addition (gotta sit in the front). HUGE recommendation if you plan on riding coasters, is buying the Elite Adventure Tour. We paid $200 bucks additional, but it was worth EVERY PENNY. We could ride any ride we wanted to as many times as we wanted to and move directly to the front of the line. Our longest wait was no more than 4 min (and we were able to sit in the front row). You get an entire tour of the park with your own tour guide. We did the beer tour got breakfast and lunch, saw two shows and got to feed the giraffes and pet flamingos. All in one day and ride Sheikra 3 times (we could have ridden more if we chose).
A very good park, except for the huge lines. Gwazi is a fantastic wooden coaster. Id give it a 8/10. Kumba is one of my favorite B&M; Sit down coasters ever besides Kraken at SeaWorld and Scream at Magic Mountain. 9/10. Montu and SheiKra are so fast and intense. 10/10!

BGA is a very good park with some very good coasters. For me Sheikra is the best coaster there followed by Montu and Kumba. Gwazi is fun though it is rough.BGA is an overall fun park with good animal exhibits.
