While camping with my family up in beautiful Lake George last week, we had the chance to spend the day at the Great Escape. We visited on a Wedensday, and had quite a good time. The park was much bigger than I had anticipated it to be and it was beautifully themed and landscaped. I hit all of the coasters, but only rode the Comet more thanb once (I rode it 4 times!!!). The longest wait of the day was the first for Nightmare which was an hour, and so not worth it. The only other fualt with the park I could find was the waterpark, which was really poor. Other than that, I had a fabulous time and would love to visit it again just for the Comet alone.

STEAMIN DEAMIN: A pathetic outdated, rough attempt at a rollercoaster RATING: 2/10
BOOMERANG: This one is particurlary rough with a lot of headbanging.
RATING: 4/10
NIGHTMARE AT CRACK AXLE CANYON: Yet another boring enclosed ride.
RATING: 2/10
ROAD RUNNER EXPRESS: one of the better rides here
RATING: 6/10
THe new coaster coming in 2006 is gonna be another CLONE! its the SLC from Astroworld nad unfortunately it was one of the rougher ones!
