Batman: The Escape, Six Flags AstroWorld - Review

Batman: The Escape - Review

Six Flags AstroWorld

Already rejected by two other Six Flags parks, this is one of two Intamin stand-up coasters, the other is Shockwave at Drayton Manor Park in the UK, and although Shockwave is short and intense, it is by no means rough and bumpy like Batman. I have faith that Batman was not always a rough ride but has become that way due to poor maintenance at Astroworld, but this is only speculation.

The Arctic theming is good, but the ride is a mound of rust! The loading is very slow, and the seats are uncomfortable. The ride features one inversion (a vertical loop) and several twists and turns. Some of the transitions are quite rough, and although the ride is better than a TOGO stand-up, it is far from the standards of even the earliest B&M.;
